You once were
The piece that completed me
Before, the strength that held me up
Now becoming the stumble of every failed step
Leading me not to eternal peace
Only towards the task of learning to breathe again
With every confidence I gave
You struck me down with insensitivity unmatched
Can't see past the blinding light of demons, yours
Only into the infinite eyes
Of your perpetual demise
Your heart, mouth
The culprit of these tears upon my lashes
